Post subject: Can't Install Printers in Vista Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>print_fax_scan (more info?)
I am unable to install any printers to any ports by any manufacturer. After I
pick the port and point to the correct Vista printer driver for the printer,
after a few seconds, I get the msg: "Printer driver was not installed.
Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000002).
Anyone run into this before?

I installed F340 All-in-one with no problem. good luck

I actually have the same issue on a 64 bit Ultimate edt. Any solutions ?

Make sure your user account control is turned on when trying to add a
printer, or log in as the administrator

yes, I am running the install or the add a printer as an admin on the
machine.
