Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)

I get this error message about once a week or so. The computer is usually
doing nothing. (outlook is running)

I do not seem to have any weird side effects from it.

I can get it to go away by clicking on the "X" in the corner of the box.

Her is the entire error message:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Windows - No disk

Exception Processing message Oxc0000013 Parameters Ox75A6023C Ox876FEA7C
Ox75A6023C Ox75A6023C

[Cancel] [Try Again] [Continue]

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hitting any of the buttons at the bottom of the message do nothing to get
rid of this error.

I do not know if the beginning of the number & letter sequences are a Alpha
"O" or a numberic "0".

What is this and what is causing this??

thanks

Bob

I Googled "Windows - No disk" and came up with this (it's for XP):

The beginnings of the "number & letter sequences" as you refer to them (they
are actually hexadecimal double-words), are numerical zeroes, not
alphabetical O's.

Nonny's link looks like it should solve your problem, otherwise. If it
doesn't, you may wish to check the event viewer for more information on how
and when the error occurred.
