Is there anyway to use the fax modem for faxing in the home
preminm edition?

Yes, our HP Fax machine came with an install disk.

Although fax software doesn't as part of either of the Vista home
editions, you can certainly use third-party fax software.
There are several good choices. Google for them.

Home Premium doesn't come with the Fax & Scan software, so you'll have to
either use the software that maybe came with the modem, or get something
like
