Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>installation_setup (more info?)

Using Vista Home Basic, can I change the default download folder from
c:\Users\owner\download and if so how?

Hi,
Yes its easy, i have already done it on my pc including most other user
folders.
Simply right click on the download folder, click properties/location and
then move.
If you create a target folder first then you can just point it to that.
I have all my personal data on another drive such as contacts/documents
pictures etc it makes it safer if there are any os/hardware problems.
