Post subject: Chkdsk Output?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>performance_maintenance (more info?)

Under Vista Ultimate SP1, where does the output of a boot-time chkdsk go?
Searching on this topic, I keep seeing references to the Event Viewer,
however I can't find any trace of that information there.

Type EVENT in the start-search box and hit Enter

It's in Windows Logs/Application

Scroll until you find an entry for Wininit

Thanks Paul. No wonder I couldn't find "chkdsk" in the logs!!!
