About OneCare Activation Impossible from CH - Microsoft onecare ENG
international shipping
Hello,
In May our family got each(4) a computer, and I did straight on install on
them the trial version of One care (best of all antiviruses for my tase and
experience); with intend to update on begining of August (then 12 days left)
by buying 2 of these, in ENGLISH from Switzerland/zuerich...>>>
>> and SINCE am not able to get them! For the activation is only for USA!!!
How can this be that Microsoft products cannot be bought in ENG-and $, from
Switzerland ???
Now in MediaMarkt-shop, they try getting it in ENG, but they are not sure if
they can!!!
Now there are 3 days left for our trial version; how can we be helped in
such software-problem ...which has nothing to do with software?!

Tom is right, the WLOC forum is the place to post for OC problems.
Steve, Jim, and other MVPs do not get paid for moderating that forum but
are there because they want to help other OC users.
All you get in this newsgroup is "cut and paste" answers from some
so-called experts here.

Both your taste and experience seem small in range.

All this doesn't make much sense, I am afraid.

What's that supposed to mean? (No need to respond).
Here is what I suggest you do:
1. Uninstall WLOC
To uninstall Windows Live OneCare from Vista:
Click the Vista Orb, then click Control Panel.
Click Programs and Features.
In the Uninstall or change a program list, click Windows Live OneCare, and
proceed with the uninstall.
Note that part of the uninstall will ask you to provide a reason for
removing OneCare.

I fail to see why having my specs in my sig has anything to do with what was
discussed here. FYI I posted this via a forum which encourages putting your
hardware info into your sig to better answer your questions. Right now I
am using Windows Mail to post so no specs.
Believe me, I have no ego to bruise.
