The FBI is too busy sending out emails to deal with it.

| It takes 30 mins to remove.

How did Norton "trap it ?
One common infection vector is via network protocols. To help prevent the SpyBot and and
any new Internet worms from entering your system I suggest using a Cable/Dsl Router, such as
the Linksys BEFSR41, and specifically block TCP and UDP posrt 135 ~ 139 and 445. This will
block worms such as the SpyBot at the Router. It will also mitigate new worms where it is
trying to exploit a vulnerability in the OS and NAV doesn't yet have signatures for it.

I whole heartedly agree. The best defence against any attack from the outside
is a harware firewall such as a NAT router. It has only one job to do and is
far superior to any software solution.
To the best of my knowledge, Spybot is a generic term for a family of malware.
There are many variants, all with different characteristics.

I am quite angry. The spybot keeps coming back and I am getting very tired
of it.
I deleted via Norton notes (registry).
