Post subject: Antivirus software Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus, others (more info?)
I am in the process of updating my company's anti virus sofware (12 of
us). Have been using Mcafee ASAP but the company who supplied it to
us are now with Computer Associate who are offering us a deal on
eTrust. Does anyone have a view on how good they are or whether we
should be looking to go with someone like Panda? We have a firewall
(Sonicwall)and would be looking at protecting the desktops and server.
Any advice, recommendations, useful links to sites that compare
antivirus software would also be good.

Have a look at Sophos, installs on your server and automatically
updates all the workstations.

I will second that. Sophos is the way to go for most networks.
