Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)

I have used it on my machine (Win 9Cool now for a few months and suddenly the
DOS report window is in German but the rest of the program is in English.
How do I switch back to English? I used it just now and it found a file in
the Recycle folder (ready to be deleted anyway) but because it was in German
I could not understand what my options were with this file.

Uninstall the current version completely using add/remove. Reboot the
computer so that the files that AntiVir puts in the root directory can remove
the stuff they need to remove. Download a fresh copy of the English install
and reinstall.

Most of this has been discussed on the English sections of the AntiVir forum,
accessable from the AV website. I notice that I get the German AVGuard
screen when I update and the main program or engine changes. It doesn't
happen if only the virus definitions are updated. I have posted this on the
forum, and I belive they may have fixed the problem. But we shall see with
the next program or engine upgrade.

There is also an english translation of the German AVGuard screen on the
forum, which you can DL and use if the German warning screen shows up again.
