I an Webroot's SpySweeper and it found Perfect Keylogger on my
computer. It did that earlier in the week and I deleted it. Last night
because of my computer being very slow and stuff, I tried to restore
to an earlier date and it said after trying that it could not be done.
Is there a chance that by trying, the keylogger was reinstalled? How
do these get on one's machine? And how serious can it be?

Thanks,
Mark

Possibly. Can you re-do the scan?

Unpatched web browsers, unpatched operating systems, clicking on
nefarious links unwittingly, installing "free" software that includes
nasty extras, in general "using Windows" it seems. :-\

How does "An attacker having every password you ever type on your
computer, including those to web sites of financial institutions and
credit card and address information" grab ya?
