Post subject: avg missing .bin Archived from groups: alt>comp>virus, others (more info?)
ok tried an update this morning,stage 6 of 7 of the avg update fails
each time,result update failed A .bin file is missing. I have
uninstalled & tried to reinstall the free version from avg,but that
fails too,with the same results. Please,I’m no pc guru,just the basic
grasp of pc knowledge please keep it simple for me thank you people..

Have you tried the free home edition of Avast? I don't think you would be
disappointed with the way it installs or updates. AVG in my opinion doesn't
hold a light to Avast......and I did say "my opinion". There are others
just as good.
