I am pleased with my Avira free AV s-ware. But there are two annoyances and
I'm wondering if there are any fixes:

1) If I do not update it in 3 days, I get an annoying pop-up a few times a
day. I would prefer being notified weekly (although I update more often than
that!)

2)When updating, I get a pop-up trying to sell me the paid version. I
suppose this is a price I must pay for the freebie?

Configure AntiVir, 'check' Expert mode, General, Security, under Update
change number of days as you wish.

You may wish to consider removing the 'AntiVir Nagscreen'
