I need to run an AV from CD.
I tried BugHunter on UBCD 4.11b.
I enabled NTFS, the C: drive became F: drive. I can browse F: drive however.
BugHunter came back with "signature files corrupt, cannot access log file,
attempting to create logfile". Returned to command prompt. Sound familiar?
Any suggestion?

Hello.
Ok, first off, the BugHunter present on the cd is a bit outdated. 2nd, you
really must run the program from the F: drive or a ram disk of sufficient
size.

You really must make yourself clear. Are there instructions anywhere that
show how to do this? OK, let's see, the cd is a ramdrive, the program is a
ramdrive.... wait a minute , are you really Dustin?
I had a client that had a blue screen XP install from smitfraud. I wanted to
scan from UBCD. McAfee ran, but its update was from 2004. Bughunter didn't.
He fortunately had the XP install disk from Dell with none of the right
drivers. I lucked out and did a repair install and scanned with Spyware
Terminator , updated until I got control, and everything is ok now. Don't
worry. Seems like everybody is infected with Smitfrauds these days. What
will we do?
