You don't !

It is contraindicated to have two or more fully installed anti virus applications
performing "On Access" scanning on any given platform.

I use NOD32 "real-time".
I use Avira Antivir (Personal) only "on-demand".
(for scan on request.)

After installation of Avira I change in services the Avira-guard (the
real-time protection) to start "on demand".
(I have to tell this from memory, as my WindowsXP PC is in repair.)

It is not wise to have two anti-virus programs running "real-time" at
the same time.

Avast pro 4.8 is freckin awsome!! Installed it for over 10 friends but
bullguard is still better
