its the problem of AVG UPDATE file, theres some error and AVG is
trying to fix it, read more here

I switched to avast on both my computers-updates no problem-I like it
better.checks memory on start up and checks all incoming emails for
viruses...it is also free

please try to uninstall and reinstall your avg program then try to update it will resolve your issue
