I'm using AVG 8 (free) on an XP Pro PC. Today for the first time I
tried the 'Send to analysis' facility on an Infection file in the
vault. There's a message that it may be slow. But after 5 minutes
there was *no* activity in the progress bar. Tried a second Infection
with same result. Anyone able to confirm it does actually work at all
please?

I've just sent two with no problem apparent and no sort of delay.
In my case AVG detected a generic Trojan in one of HP's recovery system
files which seems unlikely.
