I would like to get rid of AVG free so what is the next best freeware ?

I favour Avira and have had no problems since I changed from AVG which was my favourite before it bloated itself... -- Yours Quilly,

Lack of email scanning in the free version is a bit of a killer though (and yes i have read the articles claiming email scanning to be pointless), it also doesnt have scheduled scanning in a default installation, and annoying pop up...
