OK, now I have stability issues and AVG just started a scan on its own.
I can't stop it.

Whats another decent free anti virus program that runs on Vista 64 bit?

3.2 System requirements

Uninstall AVG with a decent uninstaller.

What difference would that make? I uninstalled it, and deleted the AVG
folder which included the magical ctf files.
Then I rebooted.
I reinstalled, tried to update and got the same ctf file bullshit I had
before.
How would uninstalling/reinstalling help me out?
