He's usually very civil, and a font of good information and
advice in the baking and cooking newsgroups. I don't know why
he's copping an attitude here. Probably realized that coming
into a technical newsgroup and calling himself a 'technical
consultant' led to certain assupmtions that he is unwilling to
just correct, laugh off, and move on from; so, he needs to cover
with some face-saving bluster. Can't do that at his regular
job - after all, you don't want to piss-off coworkers that carry
sharp knives and pans of hot oil.
