Hello Jo,

Fitting text to a curved path isn't available out to the box I'm afraid.
Chris Roth recently produced a text on a circle tool:
http://www.visguy.com/2007/10/18/circular-text-generator-version-1/

....and he also has a spiral tool (no text though):
http://visguy.com/2006/10/19/spiral-shape-maker/

....so text on a spiral can't be far away, can it Chris? Smile

I guess as an interim you could take Chris's approach and apply it manually
(ie arrange individual characters, although I appreciate this might become a
rather dull task if you're writing long sentences.

Best regards

John

While not all Visio....you can create text on a spiral in Illustrator or
CorelDraw and import it into Visio
