Post subject: how to setup data base?

Hi i have put what i need into the data base but don't know how it updates
it's self please can you help me out as me keep updating it is driving me mad

Databases don't just update themselves, somebody had to set something up or
be entering data in it somehow.

The first thing I'd check is if you have any linked tables. If the data the
links are pointing to is being changed, it will automatically flow into your
database. If you do not want that to happen, import instead of link. Of
course, you're then left with outdated data.. something to keep in mind.

Bryan, step back a bit. Read this post from the point of view of someone who
has never seen your computer, does not know what version of Access you're
running, doesn't know anything about the structure of your database, and
doesn't know what you are doing or expecting.

We'll be glad to help if we can, but please give us something to work with.
