By: pubilshing gal - Ok Mary Sauer, I will try these suggestions. Also The transparency tool your
speaking of is that "Set Transparent Color" tool you're speaking of? Because
if so, then great, I've used that tool before and yes it will take the white
background color off if the logo is placed inside of another Publisher file,
like say and email or postcard, etc. However if I wanted to...

dotted lines print. You might ask your client to update their display driver.

Publisher vs. InDesign

By: Sher - There is a program called - Pub2Indesign, that can open publisher files in
the program indesign - gives you a head start when just learning Indesign.
http://www.graphic-design-employment.com/convert-publisher.html

It doesnt handle tables very well - but you can bring them in as photo files.

By: Mr. Analogy - I've installed the PDF module for Pub 2007 but Publish as PDF fails. As
does "Save as PDF"

I do have Nitro PDF installed (both the free PDF driver which support PDF v
1.3, necessary for CMYK seperations) and the trial of their Nitro Pro).

Would that foul things up?
And is the Microsoft Print to PDF any better than the Nitro?

By: Rob Giordano [MS MVP] - Nevermind.

I was just confused by Publisher which, when you set up for a booklet pub
you are actually viewing in reader spread but Publisher converts to printer
spread...dunno why this confused me but it did. So, I don't have to convert
anything.

spot', and then change the color of the rule from RGB to 100 black CMYK. Had
to down load the PDF plug in and set to' Commercial Printing' for the final
