The filtered html (File, Publish to web) is the best option you can have
with Publisher 2003. Review this forum for past discussions on this and

Sorry, but the filtered output of 2003 is the leanest code possible with
Publisher. There is no way to change it. If your html output files are too
large for the space that you have available from your host, or load too
slowly, then you need to change your design, probably by using less graphics
or compressing them. You could also use Pub 2000 if you have it available,
which produces leaner code. If the size of your files aren't the problem,
then perhaps refer to the articles on how to publish your site:
http://www.publishermvps.com/WebDesign/Version2003/tabid/33/Default.aspx

And if none of this helps, then repost with which version of Publisher you
are using, and the specific problems you are having.

David, I have created a web file in Microsoft Publisher 2007 Vista and when I
publish it to an HTML filtered file, some of the pictures are missing, the
hyperlinks don't work and my colums don't show up. Is there anyway I can
safe my web file in another format that I can publish to the web. This is so
frustrating?? Can you help

Nothing to do with filtered or rich HTML code...

When you Publish to the Web and produce your web files, Publisher produces
an index.htm file (your home page) and an "index_files" folder which contain
all your other pages and supporting graphics. It sounds like you did not
upload the "index_files" folder. Upload that folder intact, and you should
be good to go.

If some of your images are working, and some aren't, that could also suggest
that you have put some of the images on a Master Page. Don't use a Master
Page in a Publisher web.

If that doesn't get you going, please post the URL of your site when you
post back, and we will help some more.
