Post subject: Can I use my product key to download office? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access>gettingstarted (more info?)
I bought the disc. but my Thinkpad x61 doesn't have a disc drive. I don't
want to spring for an optical drive. Can I download Office 2007, home and
student using the priduct key that came with my disc? thanks

Probably not. If you have a friend with an optical drive, have him copy your
CD/DVD onto a USB stick that's big enough to hold the data.
