I would like to link create a photo gallery and link it to my web page. Any
suggestions as to the best way to do this? How do I publish the photos to
the web?

I have tried Picasa but I was having difficulty hyperlinking it back to my
homepage. Once you click the pictures and get to Picassa there is no way to
get back to the home page without clicking back multiple times.

You'd need to edit the Picasa index.html page (the one in the root Picasa
folder)...and you can't do that with Publisher since it's not an editor.

IOW...the way to do this would be generate your Picasa html album into a
folder on your local machine, then import that into your website (can't with
Publisher) then create links back & forth from your Picasa page(s) to your
main site (but you can't do any of this with Publisher).

I haven't used Picasa. Does it create an .htm file along with a folder for
the slide show that you can download to your computer? Or does it host the
slide show and just give you a link to the slide show? Depending on your
answer, you can insert the link to the slideshow and code it such that it
will open in a new window, and when they close the slide show your website
will still be there...no need to hit the back button. Or you can use an
iframe to "import" it into one of your web pages. Let me know the answers to
my questions, and which method you prefer, and I can give you instructions.
