Post subject: passwords Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access (more info?)
Can someone help me please? I was working in Access yesterday morning
everything was fine. Then when I went back into access to open a database, a
login window came up asking for my password. I never set a password, and I
can not get into any of my databases or even create a new one without the
password. I was told to try tools>security>workgroup, but how do I go to
those when I can not get into my access? I have access 2007.

If you are sure that you have never set a password, and that someone else
hasn't maliciously done so, you might try uninstalling, then reinstalling
Office. If that doesn't work you may have to use a password recovery
service. You can use a search engine to find one.

Thank Arvin, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but that did not help.
I will try and use a password recovery. Thanks again

Hi,
Please forgive my frankness,I thought that you have used the Access 2007
which pirates. And recently you updated the Office key program. This
possibly is causes the question.
