Archived from groups: microsoft>public>frontpage>programming (more info?)

I'm doing a website for an organization and want to put their monthly
newsletter online, but it is just for members. The rest of the site is
public. I am working with MSFP 2003. Does someone know how I can do this?
Thanx,
Janet-G

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Do you require 1) one password shared by every member, or 2) a password for
each member?
If 1) then a subweb with unique permissions is probably the easiest to set
up, if your host supports subwebs with unique permissions.
If 2) you will need a database solution using asp, php or asp.NET depending
on what your host and server supports.

http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/protect-page/Protected-Folder.aspx
show how to use the FrontPage extensions with a subweb and unique
permissions. Links from the page show how to use alternative server side
scripting ("classic" asp) for the login.
