Post subject: how to install / activate CMYK color model in Visio 2003? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>visio>general (more info?)
Hello!
I try to save a graphik in Visio 2003 as a jpg file (via "save as"). I want
to use CMYK color format since this is necessary for the printing process I
want to use (printing via external expert who needs jpg with CMYK). Only RGB
color format is available for selection. The funny thing ist that the CMYK
color format is in the list but only "grey" and therefore not selectable when
I activate "save as" and jpg as file format I like to generate.
I installed appropriate printer drivers and icc files but still no
possibility to use CMYK in Visio 2003.
What is the secret to "activate" CMYK color format in Visio 2003?

This has been asked before and there has been no answer, however...
any decent graphics editor will do RGB -> CMYK separation, but why
your "expert" needs such I don't know, anybody who knows their
printing process will be able to do their own colour conversion,
besides, an expert should be asking for TIFF format, never JPG!
