Post subject: Can
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access (more info?)

We use Access as a tool to collect data from Oracle and other data
repositories and Excel as a reporting tool. I use a number of Excel templates
to create pivot tables that are connected directly to Access tables. When
trying to connect to Access from Excel, I've come across two issues. In the
Selct Table menu, not all existing tables are on the list, and when I select
a table I get the following error message."Selected collating sequence not
supported by the operating system." Has anyone experienced this before?
