How can i create a data dictionary document using ER model ?

Post subject: How can i create a data dictionary document using ER model ?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>visio>general (more info?)

I can't find a way to generate a document which contains a sort of data
dictionary similar to what Enterprise Architect does, when we create around
500 tables in ER model than it takes a lot of effort to create a data
dictionary for those tables as well, this is a very basic type of
documentation why it is not supported in visio 2007?

Did u ever find a way to do this or does Visio 2007 Pro just not
support it.?

Hi Arsalan,

Did u ever find a way to create a data dictionary from visio? If so would u please let meknow how? I tried the reports and couldn't find a way to save the template to be able to run it every time?
