Post subject: my changed page uploads in html language Archived from groups: microsoft>public>frontpage>client (more info?)
I haven't updated my website in a long time and now need to update a page.
I've made the changes (that I THINK are correct), but when I try to upload to
my website, that page shows up in HTML language. All my pictures and text
and links are gone. Can someone tell me how to correct this? I'm using
FrontPage 2000.

Thank you,
Susan

Please give a link to the faulty page. Web pages should upload as "HTML
language", but should display in the browser as understandable text and
images.

Ok, that is not html language, but it is the contents of the interior.htm file that is contained inside the
normally hidden _vti_cnf
folder in the root of your web.
You have some how managed to link to it or use it as an include, or simply some how published it.
You need to republish interior.htm that you see in normal folder view.
Do not browse inside the _vti_cnf folder.
