Thank you all for your help.
I've gone through and switched all the pages from a Master Page to "ignore"
master page. Should this fix that element?
I've run design checker but it doesn't say anthing about overlapping
objects. There are objects which are off the page. Does this make a
difference?
Alot of my text boxes have "fancy" borders around them. I'm am going to
switch those as I have read in other posts that this may be the cause of some
problems aswell.
Well ... I'll make those changes and we'll see what happens
David,
Kananaskis is an amazing place. It's a beautiful hidden gem of the Rockies.
You should come back soon.

Michelle,
Looks like you fixed most of the issues since you posted this. The pages
look fine in FF3, so should look OK in Safari too.
But to answer your questions, no using the ignore master page should not
help...if it did, let me know. As you probably figured out, you need to put
everything on the main page and simply not use a master page in a Publisher
web publication. I assume that you were...is that correct?
I forget to mention running the design checker, which should always be done
prior to publishing. Yes, you want to make sure that there isn't anything
overlapping into the scratch area. This might explain the one thing about
your site that still perplexes me. Publisher is designed such that it will
automatically truncate a page after the last design element on the page, and
thus yield a custom length page, when you publish the page. Your pages
extend beyond the last design element. Is this where you have an "object"
overlapping into the scratch area? This is not a huge deal, as the pages are
displaying just fine, but it would make things a bit more tidy.
And yes, there was a recent post about "fancy" borders creating problems. As
I remember it the double line border "killed" the active link by converting
the whole text box to an image. I didn't test all your links, but they seem
to be working.
It appears you did some redesign and your site seems to be working just fine
now. If you have other issues, let us know. I would like to know if the
primary issue was the use of a master page, if you have time to respond.
Thanks.

Kananaskis - Having been to Glacier-Waterton National Park 4 times before, I
couldn't imagine better views, but the Canadian Rockies were even more
magnificent. I especially loved that 50 mile or km stretch of road to
Jasper, called the ?icefields highway?. Every turn provided a picture
postcard view. Whew! The only problem was that I was up there for more than
three weeks, and only had three days without rain. If you could just promise
a week without rain...<g>...someday. Thanks for bringing back some great
memories.

Hello David,
When I build the site inititally I probably would have used a master page.
It was so long ago I can't remember. I did not move it all to another page I
simply right clicked on the page number on the bottom then on "Apply Master
Page" then I changed them all to ignore. They seem to be loading fine as I
have tested them on PC and Mac.
As for the page length on my computer it comes up just a bit longer than the
design elements. I think this is because I have my analytics code placed at
the bottom of the page.
Do you know how I can center the design on the page so there isn't extra
background on the right hand side and maybe put a solid colour in the
background?
Thanks,
Michelle

Thanks for the clarification.
Centering your pages in Pub 2003 or 2007:
When you "Publish to the Web" direct the output (the index.htm file and the
index_files folder if you are using the subfolder option) to a folder on
your computer where you can find it. Each of your *.htm files requires
adding a centering code after the existing </head> code.
Though you can do this manually with NotePad, here is a semi-automatic
method.
(Note: the code string may wrap in this message, but it should be just one
line in ReplaceinFiles. Also change the width to the pixel width of your web
pages.)
File Types: *.htm
In Folder: Use the ... button to browse to the folder where you directed
your web files on your computer when you Publish to Web.
Assuming that you are using a subfolder, check the box at the bottom
"Replace in Subfolders".
Click "Replace All", and you should get a "Finished" dialog that will
confirm the replaced strings of code for each *.htm file/page in your web
files.
After opening the edited .htm files in your browser to test the change, you
can upload your index.htm file and your index_files folder to your host.
You will have to run Replace in Files each time you modify your Pub file and
produce new web files. However, once the options in Replace in Files are
filled out and the "Replace all" is selected, the entries are retained for
the next time you use the program.
