Hello,
I have several sites hosted by a company that no longer has FrontPage
Extensions installed on their servers. They didn't warn me about this and I
am now really in a bind.
Can anyone recommend a good company that offers reasonably priced hosting
with FrontPage Extensions on their servers?

Do you indeed use any functionality of FPSE? What broke? You may be fine
where you are or be able to find alternative work arounds.

I have had no problems with webhost4life (http://www.webhost4life.com) ,
though their web based support takes a few hours for a response. I have
never tried the 24/7 telephone support.

I use FrontPage Forms so I need FPSE.

I have about 200 sites that I am converting from FP to Expression
Web. I have been using a form handling solution from a company called
FormBreeze at www.formbreeze.com. It's not free but its reasonable,
and it works great.
The problem with FrontPage Server Extensions is that most hosting
packages use Linux, and as the hosts upgrade their Linux OS, support
for FPSE disappears. You may want to consider at a longer term fix
than just moving to a different host. Ask them how much longer they
will be supporting FPSE, and don't settle for the first response, ask
for tier two tech support. The answer is different there. Trust me.
I asked, which is why I moved to Exprssion Web.
But you can stay with FP forever (maybe) on a Windows Server package.

There are lots of form processors out there - many of them free, and have
more functionality than the FP form processor.
I'm with 1and1, and they dropped FPSE about a year ago on their linux
servers. I've got a few forms on my site and did the conversion rather than
switch to Windows-based hosting. I'm glad I did.
I use Jack's FormMail, btw. Simple, works great, so far has never failed
(knocking on wood).
