Visio is not showing the flowchart menu for band orientation when creating a
new drawing. Which have the effect that the titlebar is not created and the
grouping function is activated. That means that the bands are not attached to
each other.

Running visio with SP1 in Belgium region

menu Tools -> Options -> Security
and ensure the "Enable Automation events" is ticked.
(or equivalent menus in French or Flemish)

But is the box ticked?
Do other addons that create a menu work? Floor plan or Office layout
or Timeline ?

Paul,

The box is ticked. But it seemed that when a action (script or VBA) is
triggered for creating a menu of some sort when starting a new template it is
not going to happen.
