Post subject: Visio Pro 2003 - Horizontal Connector Label Won't Print Archived from groups: microsoft>public>visio>printing (more info?)
I'm trying to print floorplans using Visio Pro 2003 and no
matter what I do the labels on horizonal connectors will
not print. I can even copy a vertical dimension object
and move it to a horizonal position and it won't print.
Now, here's the weird part. It can't be related to the
printer driver because it works fine in Visio 2002 and it
works fine in one of my Visio 2003 docs. That's right, I
have 10+ Visio 2003 docs that I'm working with and one of
them prints fine. I have no idea what magic sequence of
events allowed it to behave differently than the others,
but it does.
To troubleshoot, I've tried upgrading the drawings from
2002, I've tried creating them from scratch in 2003, I've
tried copying from the one drawing that will print, and
I've tried every possible setting. Nothing works. The
only thing that I can figure is that I created the one
working drawing before I upgraded to XP SP2& Visio SP1.
That's right, I ran both upgrades at the same time and no
Visio doc created since has worked properly. I even
uninstalled Visio and reinstalled, but the problem still
persists.
