For those who were stuck with a PhotoSmart 2500 series (maybe I'm the
only one), here is a workaround:
just install a new printer using the HP Deskjet 550C driver that's
included in WinXP SP1 (should be).
Now it works with just a slight degradation in terms of print quality.
