I have a new laptop with VISTA. I am trying to load FrontPage 2003 but keep
getting a message that "Windows 2000 or XP" is required. Is there any
work-around?

Yes, you are correct. I have the upgrade version. Would I be better off to
buy a full version of FP 2003 or should I look to the replacement product? I
am running Office 2007. What would be my best choice?
Thanks.

You apparently have an upgrade of FP 2003? If so, you'll need a previous
full version of FP for a qualifying product.

Do you have a prior full version of FP?

The carton is marked "Upgrade". It says that it requires a previous version
on FP or Office be already installed. I guess it only looks for an older
version of Office and not a newer version?
Suggestion?
Thanks.

You still haven't answered my question. Do you have a prior full version of
FP? You would have had one if you installed the upgrade on another machine.
If you have the prior version, it doesn't need to be installed. Start the
installation process with FP 2003 upgrade. When you get prompted, or
receive the message you previously did, take that disk out and insert the
prior full version..then follow the prompts.
If you don't have a prior version, you'll need to find one, such as Ebay,
which I don't recomment, or see if you can find a full version of FP for
sale somewhere, such as Amazon. (it's no longer be made or sold). Or,
purchase the FP replacement, Expression Web.

Tom
Sorry. I don't have a full version of FP. I guess I'll have to purchase FP
or Expressions.
Are mt FP files fully compatible wth Expressions? Is there a significant
advantage from one to the other?
