Post subject: Query doesn't always return result
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access>tablesdbdesign (more info?)

My predecessor designed an Access DB where a query for an Address is run and
the corresponding property information would be displayed in a form. The
form could then be printed out. The DB works great most of the time and I
have made some minor tweaks to make it perform more to my liking. The
problem is that certain addresses come up with a blank form due to the fact
that the query that generated the form came back with no results. I have
checked, double checked and checked again and I cannot figure out why some
addresses display and some don't. I am thinking that sometimes length might
be an issue but that isn't the case on all the addresses that return no
information. I would be happy to supply anyone willing to help with all of
the database. I do know that Access DB are difficult to transfer but I have
had some success with zipping them. There are some Macros for maximizing the
windows and printing the form as well which like I said normally perform just
fine. She also locked out certain menus that I cannot recover so I tried to
replicate the whole database but I have the same results with it. I will
probably have to strip out sensitive information so the form may be missing
information. If anyone can help please let me know

No offense, but would you accept an unknown file from someone you just met?

Please post the SQL statement of the query. Also consider posting a
description of the underlying tables that feed that query.
