Post subject: Publisher Websites Archived from groups: microsoft>public>publisher>webdesign (more info?)
It sounds from the previous postings that Publisher in not the web design
tool MS makes it out to be. That said can I safe site from 2003 and use 2007
to upload to the internet? At the same time find a better webdesign program.
Does RapidWeaver for Mac have any of the same problem?

Publisher has its limitations as a web building tool, but if you work around
them you can produce a good looking functional site. It all depends upon
what your goals are for your site...
I have no idea what you are asking when you want to "safe" or save site from
2003 to 2007? Pub 2003 and 2007 files are interchangeable if that is what
you are asking. Please be more specific and clear with your question.
I have never used RapidWeaver but googled it out of curiosity. It sounds
like it too has limitations. Are you running a MAC or a PC? Seems that would
have a lot to do with what software to use. Why don't you ask your question
about it in the RapidWeaver forum...not a lot of MAC users in this forum
with Publisher being a Windows application. Perhaps you should spend some
time deciding exactly what you want to do with your site, and then choose
the software to build it.
In the future, please don't hijack some other non related thread that is two
months old...post a new question.
