I have built a simple web page (Publisher 2003) to sell old and overstock
parts. Can I add a search box for visitors to type in a part number or
description with Publisher 2003? If so, How?
Thank you.

How about creating a catalog file using pdf format? The reader program has
a search box.

How about a Google search bar or other site search?

Thank you.

I haven't installed one before, but you would use the insert html code
fragment feature to insert the code from whatever search engine you choose
to use. I can remember this topic coming up before, but I can't remember
what was recommended.

Here is a link to a number of search engines that you might try:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org....illa%3A

I am not sure that the google search engine is free or not.

Sorry I can't be more specific...just back up your Pub file and test some of
them. Post back if you find one you like and works well with Publisher.

I took it as if he/she wanted to search their own database on their site,
not the web. It wasn't perfectly clear.

Hey David,

Saw my name and wanted to say hello and Merry Christmas. One more paper
to go then I'm off for a couple of weeks.

Check this out:
http://www.valleycat.net/garden/1212bloom.jpg It's a bloom on a cucumber
plant growing in Ohio is December.
Here's another plant:
http://www.valleycat.net/garden/1211tom.jpg
It's a green sausage tomato plant that has been in water for about five
weeks.
