I have used every version, 2003 is my favorite. The catalog merge is great. Once
the bugs are addressed in 2007 it will be better.

In Publisher 97, how do I align text vertically within a text box, or within
a cell in a table?

I can center text horizontally, no problem.

I've looked everywhere (Help file, internet) and can't figure it out.
Answers I've found are for other versions of Publisher. Please help, this is
driving me crazy!

==================================
The following steps work for me.

To display rulers in Word 2007 go to...Microsoft
Office Button / Print / Print Preview...Check the box...
Show Ruler / Close Print Preview button.

If the vertical ruler fails to appear...go to...

Microsoft Office Button / Word Options button /
Advanced / scroll down to Display / check the box...
'Show vertical ruler in Print Layout view' / OK.
