Project can not recognize this file format.

I'm trying to open up a document I just finished working on 2 days ago.
Recently I was transitioned from Project 2003 to 2007. I still have problem
opening some, but not all, old files I was working on. I'm assuming there's
an issue between 2003 and 2007 files. In this specific case, I've opened the
file worked on it many times last week with no problems. Now it will only
let me open in text format. HELP!!
