Post subject: Product key WILL NOT work! PLEASE HELP!!!! Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access>setupconfig (more info?)
We got this PC in January of '07. It came with "Windows Vista Home Basic." At
first you could us it without putting the product key in and it worked fine.
But after a coupple of uses, everything locked up it wouldn't take the
product key AT ALL. The PC didn't come with a disc but there is a sticker on
the bottom of the PC with the key on it. I've tried it at least a hundred
times and it just wont work. Is there something I'm doing wrong or maybe
something you could help me with? This is pretty much my last resort, because
im not paying 50 bucks for one phone call for help. Thanks in advance.

In addition to John's information, be aware that calling Microsoft will do no
good. When you purchase a computer with an OEM copy of Windows, the computer
manufacturer is responsible for support. Microsoft would only refer you to
them.

Contact the vendor that sold you the computer or the manufacturer of the
computer and work with them to resolve your problem.
This forum is for the users of the Microsoft database product named Access.
As such it is not the best place for help on the operating system.
