I want to print a series of 8.5 x 11 sheets on one large contigious sheet of
plotter paper.

I have installed the HP drivers for a HP DesignJet 5500ps 60 PS3 plotter. I
also set in the "Page Setup" dialog the radion button choice "Fit to 12
sheets across by 2 sheets down".

Why does Visio still print them on individual sheets of plotter paper? What
other setting must I set if any to make these sheets plot on "one" 24-inch
roll of plotter paper?

Hi,

Visio printing is on a per-page basis with support for multiple page sizes.
If the plotter supports N-up printing, Visio can do this, otherwise "Fit to
X by Y" setting in the Page Setup dialog splits a single Visio page across
multiple sheets of paper.

One workaround would be to create a "printer layout" page that's the size of
your plotter paper, then copy and lay out the original pages on that.
Unfortunately, you'll have to make edits to both the original and printer
layout pages if something changes. I hope this helps
