After installing XP pro on a new drive I installed my Access 2007 (upgrade
version). I'm finding for some of my old DBs I'd rather run 2003. Can I
install my 2003 version without messing up my 2007 install?

If your Access 2007 was an upgrade version, then I don't believe you can
legally reinistall Access 2003. The reason upgrade versions are cheaper is
because you're not getting a new license.
That having been said, the two can coexist without issues. Be aware, though,
that even with Office 2007 SP1, it still takes an appreciable amount of time
to switch from one version to another.

You can run both versions of Office on the same computer as long as you
don't install Outlook for both. So if you are using Outlook, just install
it with either 2003 or 2007. We have both versions running on our student
lab machines. Hope this helps

Great, Thanks - especially the Outlook tip!

Thanks, I appreciate that info. The more I've worked with it, I think I need
to convert everything to '07 and move my backends to an SQL server to get
around the lack of security.
