FrontPage2003 Slow Page

Hi-
First time poster here. I'm having problems with editing a couple of
FrontPage 2003 pages. One is a page with a lot of hyperlinks which I need to
update. I can open the page, but once I click in it, the cursor does not
blink and it crashes. I have been unable to update this page for quite some
time. The other pages have a calendar set up with tables with hyperlinks to
bookmarked information at the bottom. It has become insanely slow with
updating text, almost a full minute to register a mouse click to highlight
the text and register new text.
I've looked all over MS for a trouble shooting message and have not found
one. I am running a PC with Windows xp.
