I am new to Front Page 2003 and have done a little research on what I am
trying to accomplish but can not find any information. I would like to have a
form with drop down boxes and data fields that will add to current web pages
automatically. For instance I want to chose a particular name in a drop down
box and have it take all the data from the form and put it in the correct web
page. I don't know if I will have to use a server side application or if I
can use Front Page. I have a server with Sharepoint installed.

You would have to create a custom server-side application with database to accomplish. You make be
able to location something pre-written that you can maybe modify to meet your needs.

Can you describe in more detail of how your application would work? You can post here anyone to
offer suggestions or directly to me via my site below.

For instance, we currently run 2 motorsports (motorcycle, atv etc) stores and
I want to document performance problems and/or troubleshooting tips
efficiently. Basically I want to have a service writer or technician fill out
a quick form that will have year, make, model, problem area, problem and
resolution and send it to the correct area. By correct area I mean Make,
Model, and troubleshooting area etc.

Ex: Yamaha > Motorcycle > Vstar650 > Electrical Problems > INFORMATION FROM
FORM

I would like the form to designate that it will go to a Yamaha > Motorcycle
> Vstar650 > Electrical Problems web page or intranet page. I would like the
completed form to append the current page to keep older information as well.
I understand I would have to make a page for each make and model and
troubleshooting area that we have.

I hope that helps.

Nick,

A database driven application would be you best option, as it would limit the number of pages needs
as well make it easy to manage. I am not sure that you will find any pre-written apps.
