Post subject: File Sharing Lock Error
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>access>tablesdbdesign (more info?)

File Sharing Lock Error when Replicating or Setting Replicable property for a
table; please advise as to why this is happening. I found info that has
fours reasons 1)limit needs to be increased for dbMaxLocksPerFile, 2)amount
of available memory
3) size of rows in the recordset and 4) network operating system
restrictions how can I determine the cause and what are the solutions. file
sharing shoudl not be an issue since this is a new D/B. Also how can I
determine the size of rows in the recordset? Is there more info on the net
where these issues are more defined?

Thanks,

Tricia
