Can a block of text be conformed so it will fill an auto shape? I can insert
my text into the shape, but it stays a rectangle; I would like it to match
the outlines of the oval I am inserting in in. I know how to adjust how far
the text is from the edges of the shape, but it still stays a rectangle.

If you have a draw program this would be a snap.
Serif has a free program, look for DrawPlus.

I have a method for doing this on my web page, it can be done with time and
patience, scroll down.

Mary, you are awesome. It worked beautifully. Thank you!

It is helpful to know that you should make the drawing with as few curves as
possible, and fix them when you edit the points, using the smooth, corner,
etc. designations for the nodes (wrap points) that create the shape. The
fewer the wavers and curves in the freeform shape, the easier it is to edit.
Fortunately, I have some experience with another program so I have edited
nodes a lot before.

It would never have occurred to me to make this work this way, again, I
thank you.

You are very welcome. I haven't worked on the web page for a long time. Maybe I
should get it cleaned up some.
I am pleased you used the method, it is always nice to get feedback.
