Post subject: Adding meta tags to a publisher built web page. Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>publisher>webdesign (more info?)
Hi all,
I'm a complete novice trying to build a website for my business using
publisher. I want to know if there is any way I can insert a meta tag
into the publisher file before I publish it to the web.

Look at the Tools Menu
Select Web Page Options
Insert the key words
Open your saved *.htm page with NOTEPAD and you will see your meta tag a few
line down from the top

Thanks I've done this, but it still isn't coming up in google, does it
just take time?

Takes time - besides Google doesn't pay much attention to meta tags at all
nor do other se.
